A downloadable zine

It's always a weird piecemeal endeavour when you're purposefully trying to search for who you are. Felt too rushed and confusing. So I don't do that, not much. I try to take it slow, like a long walk on the beach.

Same thing applied when I was trying to figure out my queer identity, a new username for a supposedly throwaway account, or some other core aspect of myself; I gave up on searching for a concrete answer.

In essence, I decided to fuck around and find out. Don't we all?

You'd think that picking a username is far less of a big deal than picking your real-life name. At the end of the day, it's still us. Just a matter of where, when, and how we're addressed.

Anyway, this poem's been a draft since like 2024, back when I was testing out a name that a friend used for me as a nickname. Surprisingly, it stuck immediately even though I'd seen it before, and about a year on from that, I'm still using it! You know who you are if you're reading this, thanks for that :)

I just updated and rewrote parts of it, then finally managed to sit down and make the visuals in the last couple weeks! Yay! Alright, ramble over, enjoy the zine.
